Jiggarthanda to showcase a different side to Madurai?

Madurai based storylines have taken over the box office recently and directors like Ameer, Bala and Sasikumar are a part of the Madurai clan who has made it big in K-Town. Right from Paruthiveeran, there has been an array of Madurai based subjects like Subramaniyapuram, Sundarapandian, Pandianadu and Aadukalam. These films have not only been a hit with the audiences but they were massive box office successes as well. Now another Madurai based film is in fast progression. Karthik Subbaraj of Pizza fame is busy with his next venture Jiggarthanda which is based in Madurai. But the director promises that we will get to see a different side to Madurai in this film.
